KIIT University in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa conducts its own entrance exam - KIITEE - for admission to all its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. No application or examination fees has been charged for KIITEE 2011, which was conducted on April 24, 2011. Its results will be declared on May 15, 2011.

Separate KIITEE 2011 Merit List will be prepared for different programmes. Based on the KIITEE 2011 results, the university will declare KIITEE cutoff qualifying marks too. The candidates will be able to see their results online and download their KIITEE Rank Card from the website.
Candidates will be notified about the Cutoff Ranks in different programmes according to the number of seats available in each of the programmes. Qualifying candidates will receive counseling from June 2 to June 15, 2011, for which a detailed schedule will be declared once the KIITEE results are declared.

Admission to all these courses is through KIITEE 2011 only.
Counselling and seat allocation at KIIT University is done solely on the basis of merit. Once the seats are full, conselling is stopped. The documents of the candidates will be verified and if any of the documents fail to meet the requirements or are found incorrect, candidates may not be considered for admission.
