KL University Engineering Entrance Exam (KLUEEE) 2011 to be conducted on 15th May!

KLUEEE (KL University Engineering Entrance Exam) 2011 will be held on the revised date of 15th May 2011. Previously the exam was to be held on 22nd April 2011. The decision was taken in the wake of the fact that the exam dates of KLUEEE 2011 and Bihar, Jharkhand State Common Engineering Entrance Exam were coinciding. The Entrance Exam will be conducted for courses in BTech and Dual Degree Programmes (BTech+MTech and BTech+MBA).

Important Dates:

• Examination Date: 15th May 2011
• Last date for Sale of Applications: 25th April 2011
• Last date for the receipt of filled-in applications: 30th April 2011
• Time of KLUEEE-2011: 10 AM to 1 PM
• Announcement of KLUEEE-2011 Results: 1st Week of June, 2011
• UG Admission Counseling 2011: 3rd Week of June, 2011
• Commencement of Class work for 2011-12: 1st Week of July, 2011

Students can also fill and submit the form online, by making a payment of Rs. 800/- through Credit/Debit Card or Net banking.

Eligibility for KL University Engineering Entrance Exam 2011:

• A Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% and above in Group subjects.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible for all B.Tech programmes including Bio-Technology.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) are eligible for B.Tech (Bio Technology) Course only

Type of Questions

• Students are given the following objective type of exam from:
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, as per the Class 11th and 12th Syllabus

Allotment of Seats in KLUEEE 2011:

• 43% seats will be allotted based on the rank obtained in KLUEEE, Counseling and Interview.
• 15% seats will be allotted to the rankers in AIEEE, Counseling and Interview.
• 15% seats will be allotted to the rank holders of IIT JEE and State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations across India including EAMCET.
• 2% seats will be allotted for NCC, Sports and Fine Arts, competency certificate holders.
• KLUEEE will be conducted at various locations as given in the UG Application form.
• Education loan facility is available for tuition fee from Nationalized Banks subject to Bank norms.
