LPU-NEST 2015: Exam day checklist
LPU-NEST 2015 will be held from April 20 to May 30, 2015. Candidates need to reach the LPUNEST exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their e-hall ticket.
Right after the candidate reaches the exam centre, he/she needs to take part in the pre-test process wherein they have to complete their registration as well as take part in on-site orientation. Candidates need to surely reach the exam centre before the on-site orientation begins because if they fail to do so then they will not be allowed to take the exam.
A registration desk will be set up at each LPU-NEST test centre where candidates will have to register themselves. At this registration desk, admit card/e-hall ticket of aspirants will be checked. Apart from this, photographs of candidates may also be clicked for the purpose of verification.
LPU-NEST exam hall will be opened for candidates 30 minutes before the test begins.
Candidates should ensure that they do not carry any textual material in the test hall. Applicants will also not be allowed to carry calculators, electronic watches with facilities of calculators, slide rules, personal stereo systems, laptop or palmtop computers, walkie-talkie sets, paging devices, mobile phones etc., inside the LPU-NEST examination hall.
LPU-NEST 2015 is just few days away and we advise that all aspirants should search and keep aside important documents necessary to appear for the exam right now itself.
LPU-NEST e-hall ticket
Applicants need to positively carry two copies of their LPU-NEST admit card to their exam centre. Candidates need to take out two copies of their e-hall ticket on A4 size paper and carry the same to the test centre. The e-hall ticket issued to the candidate will contain their e-hall ticket number, address of the test centre, test date as well as time allotted to the applicant for taking the exam. Aspirants should also ensure that that all the information as well as their photograph should be clearly visible on the admit card print-out that they carry to the examination centre.
Application form
Apart from the admit card, candidates also need to carry a photocopy of their LPU-NEST 2015 application form to their examination centre. The application form of the candidate will be checked at the registration desk located at each LPUNEST test centre.
Photo ID
Candidates need to carry their identity proof to the exam centre. The ID proof should be such that it contains the aspirant’s photograph. This too shall be verified at the registration desk present at the exam centre. Candidates need to ensure that they carry any one ID proof from the ones mentioned in the list below:
- Passport
- Driving License
- EC Voter ID card
- IT PAN card
- School/College photo-bearing ID card
Stationery
Aspirants are advised to carry a pen/pencil inside the LPU-NEST 2015 exam centre. Candidates should ensure that they carry stationery because they will be provided a rough sheet to do calculations for questions asked in the exam.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the LPU-NEST exam hall till the exam does not end. Applicants are informed that they will not be allowed to leave their test hall under any circumstance. Apart from this, smoking in the exam hall is strictly prohibited and even tea/coffee, cold drinks or snacks will not allowed inside the exam hall.
