LPUNEST 2015 Phase I exam commenced on April 20 and would continue till May 30, 2015. Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts LPU National Eligibility and Scholarship Test 2015 (LPUNEST 2015) to offer admissions to aspirants in UG, PG and lateral entry engineering programmes taught at LPU.

LPUNEST exam pattern is such that candidates need to attempt 90 multiple choice questions within 120 minutes duration. LPUNEST 2015 was divided into three sections which were Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, 30 questions were asked from each of the sections. The medium of instruction of LPUNEST exam was English only.

Majority of the students we spoke to shared that LPUNEST 2015 was easy to attempt.

LPUNEST 2015: How was the exam?

Munish Verma whose exam centre was LPU Noida shared that his exam went well. He further revealed that he attempted a total of 85 questions.

On the other hand, Nischal Dutt said: “Exam was fine, though a little tougher than I thought”. He went on to attempt all the 90 questions.

Vipin Yadav who took the exam at LPU Jalandhar revealed, “I had practiced a lot for the exam, so it was easy for me”. Elaborating on the same, Rajbir Singh said “Questions in the exam were a little tough but its ok, questions should be tough for better improvement”.

LPUNEST 2015: Difficulty Level

Munish Verma said that overall the difficulty level of LPUNEST 2015 was average. He further said, “I think Chemistry was difficult and Maths was easy”.

Talking about the section-wise difficulty level in LPUNEST 2015, Upkaran said, “Chemistry was the toughest and Physics the easiest”.

Supporting the same claim, Nischal Dutt shared, “Physics and Maths were average in terms of difficulty level and Chemistry was the toughest”. Rajbir Singh confirmed the same by revealing, “Chemistry and Maths portions were a little though whereas Physics was comparatively easier than the others”.

Vipin Yadav shared that almost all the sections in LPUNEST exam were easy. But if he was forced to pick then he would say that Chemistry was more difficult than the rest of the sections.

LPUNEST 2015: Topics with maximum questions

While Upkaran felt that there were equal number of questions asked from all the topics, Munish shared that “In chemistry more questions were asked from Inorganic whereas in Physics most questions were from topics of +1 and in Maths the topic with maximum question was Vectors”.

Even Nischal Dutt said that inorganic Chemistry carried the maximum number of questions in the Chemistry section. He further said that in the Maths section maximum questions were asked from Vectors and in Physics from Magnetism.

As per Rajbir Singh maximum question in LPUNEST 2015 were asked from vector algebra in the Maths section.
