Manipal University to conduct first ever common engineering entrance examination

For the first time, Manipal University is conducting a common online entrance test and counseling session for admissions to B.Tech courses for the academic year 2012-13. The entrance test and counseling session will be held concurrently for Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal; Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University, Jaipur to facilitate students.

This online entrance test will be conducted in 30 cities across the country. Additionally, Dubai will be the first overseas exam center to be launched this year. Instead coming to India, this Dubai examination center will enable students to take the exam in their region only.

The counseling sessions will be held at Bangalore, Jaipur, Manipal and Sikkim and the allotment of seats will be done as per merit secured in the Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2012.

Availability of application forms:

Application forms for the same are available at 320 selected branches of State Bank of India and Syndicate Bank all over India. Applications are available online and students can visit www.manipal.edu and pay the application fee through credit card, net banking, and demand draft or download the PDF form and send it through post.
