ME in Power Engineering & Management at Anna Univ
Commencing this academic year, Anna University, will be offering a brand new postgraduate program – ME in Power Engineering and Management. A self supporting program, it will be conducted under the faculty of electrical engineering at the College of Engineering in Guindy.
The course aims to meet the future energy demands of the country and address the R&D initiatives which are essential to tackle the demand through energy management. Listed below are the course details:

The course might have a study abroad component, based on the university's collaboration with Ryerson University in Canada which has funded Rs 2 crore for exchange programme internships in the field.
Consequently, all the 20 students to be admitted to the course might be given a Rs 2.5 lakh scholarship in the third semester to go abroad and register for courses, credits of which would be added to their ME transcripts
