Candidates appearing for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) 2016 must check the eligibility criteria for the same to ensure a valid registration. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra is going to conduct the exam on May 5, 2016 at various locations across Maharashtra. The last date to register for the exam is March 22, 2016, however candidates can make payment for the same till March 28, 2016.

MH CET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
To ensure a valid registration, it is very important for candidates to fulfill the necessary requirements to appear for the exam. Here’s a brief look at the eligibility criteria for MH CET 2016:
- First and most importantly the candidate should be an Indian National.
- He/she should be cleared class 10+2 examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English.
- It is important that candidate should secure a minimum of 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates who belong to SC/ST of Maharashtra State) in subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Or
- He/she must have passed diploma in Engineering and Technology and secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST and persons with disability candidates from Maharashtra).
- Those who have obtained score in CET or JEE Main Paper I can appear for the exam.
As mentioned on the official website of MH CET 2016, candidates will be able to check their results on June 1, 2016. To check the results applicants must use their registration number along with password created at the time of registration.
