MU-OET 2015: How to Apply Online

Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) is conducted every year by Manipal University to offer admissions to interested students in engineering courses offered in colleges affiliated to the University. View fee structure of courses offered at Manipal University.
Courses in which students can secure admissions at MU on the basis of their MU-OET ranks include BTech (in multiple disciplines), Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Pathology (BASLP), BSc (in many disciplines), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BArch, BA, Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BSc CVT), M Tech (in multiple disciplines), PG Medical Diploma, MA, MPhil, DM, MSc (in many disciplines), etc.
MU-OET 2015 for BTech programmes is scheduled to be conducted from April 14 to May 18, 2015 while that for BTech Lateral Entry will be conducted from June 2 to June 7, 2015. The eligible candidates can apply for the entrance exam by filling the online application form latest by March 28, 2015. Aspirants will have to shell out a total of Rs 1600. The bifurcation of this fee payment is such that Rs 600 has to be paid mandatory by all Indian applicants and Rs 1,000 is the entrance fee for selected courses.

Aspirants can apply online for MU-OET 2015 by following the below mentioned steps:
STEP 1: Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website of Manipal University.
STEP 2: Next, he/she will have to click on the ‘APPLY ONLINE’ button displayed on the homepage of the website.
STEP 3: The candidate will be directed to a web page where he will have to register himself by filling all fields like name, email ID, Gender, mobile number and date of birth.
STEP 4: Once he has registered, he will be directed to a web page where he will have to provide information like the course he wants to opt for, personal information and test centre preference.
STEP 5: In the next step, the candidate will be required to make payment for the entrance exam. The candidate will have to choose from the two options of paying MU-OET application fee, which are Demand Draft and Credit Card/ Net Banking.
STEP 5 (A): If the candidate chooses to pay via Credit Card/ Net Banking, he will be redirected to an external site for payment where he will have to provide the requisite card details and the payment will be made.
STEP 5 (B): If the candidate chooses to pay via Demand Draft (DD) mode, the candidate will be required to fill in the requisite fields such as DD number, date, issuing bank and IFSC code of the bank. The Demand Draft of Rs 1,600 has to be drawn in favour of Manipal University, payable at Manipal or Udupi. The details should be filled up in the online application form and the Demand Draft must be couriered to the below mentioned address:

STEP 6: After making the payment, the candidate will have to provide his/her contact details and education qualification.
STEP 7: In the next step, the applicant will have to upload his/her recent photograph with signature as specified in the MU-OET information brochure.
STEP 8: In the last step of applying online, the candidate will be required to confirm and submit his application form.
