MVN joins team CQ
Astha wants to become a chartered accountant and Nikhil an IAS officer when they grow up. Jyotsna has her eyes set on medicine and
Neha dreams of joining one of the IITs. These four were among the Class XI students of Modern Vidya Niketan (MVN), Faridabad, who appeared for the HT Horizons Career Quotient 2009 Test last week. Though most of the students claim to have already zeroed in on the career of their choices, they are still open to newer options. “I might join my dad’s business or change my mind if I discover something more interesting than a career in accounting,” said Aditya Dhingra.
Other schools where the HT Horizons Career Quotient 2009 Test was held included Manavsthali, New Rajinder Nagar, Kalka Public School, Alaknanda, and Hillgrove Public School, Safdarjung Enclave. The test has 71 questions that gauge a student’s areas of interest, including medicine, engineering, management, accounting, and offbeat careers. The tests are conducted at small sessions in the schools.
