The online registration for National Admission Test (NAT) 2016 has already been started by Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), Panipat on its official website. Candidates can apply for NAT 2016 by filling the application form online. All the important details related to the exam such as its application process, eligibility, syllabus and test pattern has been updated on the official website of APIIT.

NAT 2016 exam is scheduled to take place on June 3, 2016 at various locations in India. The application process for the same started on October 15, 2015 and will be continued till May 31, 2016. Candidates interested in various B.Tech programmes offered by APIIT can appear for NAT 2016 exam now. This year 50% of seats (including 15% All India Category seats) will be executed by the Haryana State Counseling Society through ‘Online Off Campus’ centralized counseling method.

NAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for Nat 2016 exam is released on the official website of APIIT, according to which, candidates completing 17 years of age on the 1st date of the month of admission, can appear for the exam. Also, he/she must clear 10+2 exam with an aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer individually. NAT 2016 Application Form and Process:
The online registration for NAT 2016 has begun and candidates can visit the official website of APIIT to download its application form, available for Rs.700 online. Applicants can also make a payment in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “APIIT SD INDIA” at Panipat. Even though, applicants will be allotted a test center based on their priority, there might be a possibility that the number of seats for a particular center increases and college may well change the exam center of candidates. NAT 2016 Syllabus and Pattern:
The exam paper of NAT 2016 will have questions based on three main subjects i.e. Biological Science, Physics, and Chemistry. The duration for the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes and in that time, candidates need to attempt 100 multiple choice questions divided equally between Mathematics, Physics and Biological Science. NAT 2016 will follow a negative marking system, where each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark. Therefore, candidates need to be careful while answering the question paper.
