NIIT University Admissions 2021: Applications open for BTech, BBA courses

The not-for-profit NIIT University (NU) has invited applications for the four new programmes introduced at NU – BTech in communication & computer Engineering, BTech in data science, BTech in cyber security,  bachelors in business administration.  

The admissions will be conducted online. NU is enabling the unique online admission interaction process (AIP) to evaluate the students who seek admission to the university. The AIP is a two-way interaction process that examines the overall personality of students rather than only their academic records. AIP consists of three parts: a questionnaire, a test based on class 12 subjects and personal counselling interaction. Students can get admission based on their Class 10 score. In order to fill the NIIT University application form and apply for the exam, candidates will have to first register themselves on the NU website.  

Prof Parimal Mandke, Acting President, NIIT University, said, “The pandemic has proved to be a black-swan event that has drastically changed the future of education. While these are difficult times, it also provides us with an opportunity to re-evaluate our education models. Technology has been one of the pillars of NU and we quickly shifted to a digital model to ensure academic continuity as the pandemic hit us. We have been enabling admissions through the AIP since our inception and this year we will go the extra mile to address any concerns that students and their parents may have.”  

Established in 2009, NU is a not-for-profit University covered under section 2(f) of UGC Act and notified by the Government of Rajasthan.
