NIOS learners qualify AIEEE, AIPMT
More than 1100 learners under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) system, qualified for the prestigious AIEEE this year and other competitive exams as well. NIOS is proud of the success rate of its learners – 1127 of its students made it to AIEEE counseling, 267 qualified for B.Arch counseling, and nine of them made it to AIPMT counseling.

The occasion also saw the launch of another NIOS initiative called ‘ Mukta Vidya Vani’ by HRD minister Kapil Sibal, chairperson of the meeting. This project will allow streaming audio content to be used for educational purpose for the benefit of NIOS learners.
It is devised as a modern interactive, cost-effective, and participatory online programme that involves academic outlook with a special focus on the technical responsibilities of production of audio and video programmes. The new initiative enables two-way communication from NIOS studio with any audience who has access to an internet connection.
NIOS has also launched a skill development plan called ‘Hunar’ last year, which would reach out to more girls from the Muslim community. Read here
