REAP 2016 Counselling Dates For B.Tech Admissions
Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process(REAP) 2016 is a gateway for admissions to the first year of B.E./B.Tech. programmes offered by Government Aided and Private unaided technical institutes located in Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities). The counselling dates for the same were released recently.
RPET was scrapped in 2015 and was replaced by REAP in the same year. Earlier, 50% seats were reserved for candidates with JEE Mains score and 50% seats were reserved for candidates with no JEE Mains Score but were eligible with 12th board percentile. However, from this year onwards, 100% seats will be available for aspirants with JEE Mains score. In case, if there are any vacant seats, they would be filled by students not having any JEE Mains score. The admission criteria for such seats would be a aspirant’s 12th Board percentile.
