An ECE student at the Park College of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore, Mr. Kamalesh Babu, gets a plum offer of over Rs 1 crore rupees.

A student of Park College of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore has topped formidable competitors like Harvard graduates and experienced business managers to bag two offers of about Rs 80 lakh and more than Rs 1 crore pay package. The star student, Mr. Kamalesh Babu J is a student of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) course at the college.

 

Both the companies that extended the offer are from the US and headquartered in New York. While one company offered Kamalesh a standing offer of about 80 lakhs and the position of Level 3 business associate to handle its pan-America operations, the second company offered him more than a crore and the position of Level 2 associate business manager to handle its worldwide operations and its newest branch.

 

Kamalesh has been selected from more than 7,000 candidates worldwide. Both the companies conducted intense interviews round-the-clock that were designed to bring out the core essence of the interviewees.
Earlier too, Kamalesh had offers from world's best universities like Harvard, Princeton, Purdue, and Cornell but chose to study at the Park College of Engineering and Technology because he thought that ‘education in India is equally rewarding and the exposure and experience offered at the college is unparalleled.'
