SET 2016 application form & process

Candidates willing to appear for SET 2016 can fill up the application forms online. The online registrations for SET 2016 commenced from February 5, 2016 and will continue till April 14, 2016. SET examination will be held on May 7, 2016. Candidates can download SET 2016 admit card from April 26, 2016. SET is a common entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate programmes, offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International University.

Candidates willing to get enrolled to B.Tech programs can either give SET 2016 exam or present their JEE Main scores. The final admission will depend on through open counseling. It is important for the candidate to be physically present at the time of counseling. Also, all original certificates need to be carried to the counseling centre. 

Candidates must note that only those who register for the exam will be eligible to appear for SET 2016. The registration process must be completed carefully to avoid any mistakes. Check SET 2016 eligibility criteria here.

Registration for SET 2016

Register at www.set-test.org. Once done, the candidate’s SET ID will get generated. Registration fee of Rs 1500 (non-refundable) needs to be paid by the candidate willing to appear for the exam. The payment can be made through the following methods:

• Online: Candidates can pay the registration fee online through credit card (Master or Visa card), net banking or can choose to pay the fee through Indian Bank Internet Banking option.

• Cash: If paying through cash, ‘Payment Advice’ form will be presented in three parts. Pay the fee in cash at Axis Bank or at Indian Bank branches in your city. From the ‘Payment Advice’, two parts will be returned by the bank to the candidate. The ‘Student copy’ will be candidate’s receipt. Next, Symbiosis copy of the ‘Payment Slip’ form that is stamped by Axis Bank or Indian Bank needs to be signed at sent to:

• Demand draft: Candidates need to get a crossed demand draft of the fee amount from any Nationalized Bank. The DD must be in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” which is payable at Pune. The single copy of ‘payment advice’ for Demand Draft needs to be signed and send along with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

Once the registration is complete, the candidate will receive their respective admit cards. The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website from April 26, 2016 to May 7, 2016.

For admission through JEE (Main)

• Fill up the online form available on the official website and apply for admission to Symbiosis Institute of Technology.
• Submit the entrance examination scores later.
• Candidates who register can share their ranks/ marks once the results are declared.
