Shiksha.com launches COMEDK 2014 College Predictor Tool
COMED K UGET is a state level examination conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) for admissions to various engineering and medical degree courses offered by institutes affiliated to COMED K.
This year, COMED K UGET 2014 aspirants will be are offered admissions to fill 17,698 engineering seats, 835 medical seats and 766 dental course seats on offer in the state of Karnataka.
The exam was conducted on May 11, 2014 and the result for the same is expected to be declared June 2, 2014. Soon after the results are out, the next thing any student would be worried about is the score and rank that he can expect to acquire in the exam this year.
To aid this concern of students, shiksha.com launched the COMED K 2014 College Predictor Tool through which students would be able to predict colleges based on their ranks and scores.
This newly launched tool stands spread over three parts and has its own special features and highlights. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you explore the COMED K 2014 College Predictor Tool:
FIND COLLEGE AND BRANCH:
This tool helps students to find out which college and branch will they be offered on the basis of their COMED K UGET 2014 rank and score. Through this tool, students will also be able to know the course code, location and the closing rank of the branch that will be offered to them on a specific rank.
To find your college and branch, you only need to enter your rank or expected rank in the box mentioned on the right hand side. You can also predict your rank on the basis of marks you expect to score in the COMED K UGET this year. All you need to do is click on the small link that reads – Find your rank. Please note that the ranks mentioned here are particularly shown on the basis of your COMED K UGET marks/predicted scores.
KNOW COLLEGE CUT-OFFS:
The second part of the COMED K 2014 College Predictor tool is the COMEDK 2014 Cut-off Predictor would help aspirants find out the cut-offs based on the institute of their preference. The tool would also display the location of the institute, branch they are eligible for, course code and the closing rank for the particular course.
To know the college cut offs; you need to select your preferred institute/s from the drop down list available on the right hand side. The list includes all the institutes that accept COMED K.
Please note that you can select one or more than one institute/s at a time.
FIND COLLEGE FOR A BRANCH:
COMEDK Branch Predictor is the third part of the COMEDK 2014 College Predictor tool will assist students in finding out which college and branch will they be offered on the basis of their COMED K 2014 rank and score.
Step 1- Select your preferred branch
The first and the foremost thing you need to do is to select your preferred branch from the given below engineering branches. This will help you to find out the college you can get admitted into based on your choice.

In the last step to find college for a branch, you need to fill in your rank you have acquired in COMED K 2014.
