The online exam for Sri Ramaswamy Memorial engineering entrance exam 2014 (SRMEEE 2014) is set to commence on April 17, 2014 and will continue till April 22, 2014. Candidates will be giving the exams in two slots per day and need to reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the start time of the test.

Each examination centre has a registration desk/booth placed near the entry where the candidate’s ID will be verified, hall ticket will be scanned, photograph will be captured and thereafter a computer will be assigned to him.
We know that at this last moment students will be under a lot of pressure to revise and be in the right frame to fair well in their entrance exam. So, to help and advice students, Shiksha.com is sharing a list of documents and things you should definitely carry to your SRMEEE 2014 online exam centre:
SRMEEE 2014 hall ticket: Candidates need to carry their hall ticket to the examination centre without which they will not be allowed to sit for the examination. SRMEEE 2014’s hall ticket would contain the candidate’s name, photograph, residential address, test centre address and test schedule. If your hall ticket does not contain your photograph then you can be barred from sitting for the exam. Candidate’s are advised to preserve and keep their hall ticket because they would be expected to produce the same at the time of counselling.
Photo identity card: Candidates need to carry an identity proof of themselves which clearly displays their photograph and date of birth. Failing to produce this document at the registration desk would lead to the candidate being barred from sitting for the examination.
Pen and pencil: Candidates will be provided with a paper/sheet to do all their rough work and for this they will be allowed to carry a pencil or pen of their own to do their calculations.
Wrist watch: Consider wearing a watch to keep a tab of the time you are taking to solve the SRMEEE paper. However, make sure your watch isn’t fitted with a calculator because this can lead to you being dismissed from the exam.
Water bottle: Most examination centres serve water to candidates during examination, but we would still advise that you carry a bottle of water to the centre. Doing this only when you are sure that the bottle has no sort of test written on it anywhere because such text if found anywhere on anything you are carrying can disqualify you from taking the test.
Be sure to keep all these documents and things of importance aside a night before the examination so that you are rest assured that you will not miss out on carrying them to your test centre.
We wish all the SRMEEE 2014 aspirants who are taking the online examination –All the best!
