SRMJEEE 2016 Counselling!
SRMJEEE 2016 Phase 2 counselling is now open online for candidates who appeared for SRMJEEE 2016, but could not make it to Phase 1 Counseling. To be eligible to appear for Phase 2 counselling, a candidate needs to secure 65% aggregate in PCM/PCB for KTR camous and 60% aggregate for other campuses. The CBSE students must secure 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB to get admission in KRT campus.

Interested candidates must check whether they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2016 counselling before making payment. Students can choose the campus of their choice and select the desired course, subject to eligibility and availability. Admission in this case will be done on first-come-first basis.
Please note that candodates can log on to the online counselling system, by using their "Application No" and "Date of Birth."
The SRMJEEE 2016 Phase 1 counselling commenced from May 11, 2016 at the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) University campus. According to the official website, the counselling begins from May 11 and continued till May 20, 2016. The first round of counselling was conducted for candidates whose rank was between 1 to 6000.
SRMJEEE 2016 online exam was conducted between April 19 and April 25, 2016 across different locations on India. It was conducted by SRM University for admissions to various B. Tech programmes offered by the University. This year the exam was held in only online mode and approximately 2 lakh students appeared for the online test.

As mentioned on the website, a total number of 70000 candidates participated in the phase 1 counselling process.
SRMJEEE 2016 was a two hour thirty minute long examination, which contained 140 questions. All the questions were in a multiple choice objective type format, wherein the question paper was divided into four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Each section carried 35 questions, except Biology, which contained a total number of 50 questions.
