Symposium organised by Calibre Educational Foundation
Call 8585951111CALIBRE EDUCATIONAL Foundation annual learning symposium was conducted in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
The topics of the symposium were 'adolescent psychology' and 'pre-primary and primary reading and technology in education'. Speakers from America, Singapore and Kanpur participated in annual learning symposium.
Minister for School Education Thiru Thangam Thennarasu graced the symposium with his presence.
He gave away two scholarships to two of the students namely Karishini Veerabahu and Master Sudharshan of Class XI and V respectively studying at Calibre Academy (a unit of the Calibre Educational Foundation), based on their economic status.
Speaking at the symposium, the Minister stated how important it was for a teacher to be a facilitator only for the children and that government schools of Chennai are incorporating technology into the classrooms.
