The hunt is on for junior scientists
All you young Einsteins, put on your thinking caps.
To spot India’s youthful scientific talent, a competition will be organised for school students from classes IV to X. The competition,
called Junior Scientist Talent Hunt (JSTH), will be held in the months of April and May this year.
The test will be conducted in two stages — preliminary (objective pattern) and main (subjective pattern).
The preliminary test will be conducted in the fourth week of April while the main exam will take place on May 1.
Each class will have different question papers and the medium of the test will be English.
The question paper will comprise questions on logic that will test the analytical skills of these students. Both individual candidates and schools can participate in this competition.
Students who clear the test will be offered scholarships by MSS Security and SIS India.
Successful students will stand to gain
Rs 10 lakh in cash and Rs 90 lakh in the form of academic fee to be disbursed to 600 students selected from different parts of the country.
