Tripura University Research Eligibility Test

Tripura University, Agartala will be conducting the Research Eligibility Test (RET) for admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs offered by various departments of the University for the academic year 2013-14. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 25, 2013.

Eligibility:

• Aspirants must hold a master degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the concerned subject or allied subject from any recognized university or institute of national importance.
• Any candidate taking his/her final master degree examinations can also apply

Application procedure:

• Students can obtain the prescribed application form on payment of Rs.100/- (for SC/ST & PWD Rs.50/-) through university bank from the Ph.D Section, Tripura University on all working days.
• They can also download the applications from Tripura University website: www.tripurauniv.in  on payment of Rs.100/-(for SC/ST & PWD Rs.50/-) by demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Tripura University payable at DBI, Tripura University Campus Branch, Suryamaninagar-799022.

Selection process:

Selection will be based on merit. Students who qualify the exam will be admitted to respective subjects on the number of availability of seats.
