UPSEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria & Test Centres
Candidates appearing for UPSEE 2016 can check the updated eligibility criteria for the exam along with the list of test cities on the official website of Uttar Pradesh State Technical University (UPTU). UPSEE 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on April 17, 23, and 24, 2016 at different locations in Uttar Pradesh. The application process for UPSEE 2016 begun from February 24, 2016 and the last date to submit the registration form for the same is March 27, 2016. Appearing candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form from March 29 to 30, 2016.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2016 is conducted by UPTU for admissions to various engineering programmes offered by the University along with institutes affiliated to it. Those seeking admissions through this entrance test can go through the application process for UPSEE 2016 to make sure their registration is valid.
UPSEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all the necessary eligibility criteria to appear for UPSEE 2016. Those appearing for the first year of B.Tech./B.Pharm./B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA must follow the below mentioned conditions to apply successfully.
- Candidates appearing for B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.
- They must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects individually.
- They must have secured a minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
- For admission to first year of BHMCT/BFAD/BFA, candidate must have cleared intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
- For admission to first year of B. Arch., candidates must have cleared intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all the compulsory subject.
Eligibility Criteria in case of NRI Quota
- NRI quota seats shall be filled by NRI's, who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from an Institution situated outside India. However, the institute should be equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
OR
- He/she should have passed High School Certificate Education (GCE) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Higher Mathematics from London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka.
- Or should have appeared in SAT II examination with Mathematics level II C, Physics and Chemistry.
- The seats in NRI quota, if any, can be filled up by son / daughter / real brother /real sister of NRI's, who have passed intermediate or (10+2) or equivalent examination; with physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects.
- Their score in all three subjects should be more than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) taken together.
- The relative merit of candidates will be decided based on the total marks obtained by them in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
- All such candidates (relatives of NRI’s) must submit an NRI certificate obtained from Indian Diplomatic Mission / Chancellery / High Commission under their seal at the time of counseling.

UPSEE 2016 exam will be held in two ways i.e. OMR Based Test and Computer Based Test. Also, the exam will be conducted on three days, from April 17 to 24, 2016, wherein, Paper 1, 2, 3, 4 will be held on April 17, Paper 5, 6, 7, 8 will take place on April 23, and Paper 9, 10, 11, 12 will be conducted on April 24, 2016.

Appearing students will be able to download UPSEE 2016 admit card from the official website of UPTU from April 8, 2016. Although, no date for the declaration of result is released on the website, the same is expected to be out in the second week of May, 2016.
