UPSEE Results 2011 will be declared on May 30th 2011!
The results for UPSEE 2011, which is going to be held on April 16th-17th, shall be declared on May 4th 2011. Depending upon the performance of a candidate, a separate merit list shall be prepared for every course. Once the results are out, the UPSEE shall update the score-card, merit position and the total score of a candidate on its website.
If under any circumstance, two or more candidates end up securing the same set of marks then inter-se-merit of such students shall be determined on the following basis:
- A candidate who has given least amount of wrong answers shall get first preference
- Subsequently:
- For B. Tech- Marks obtained in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry sections of Paper 1 respectively followed by age
- For B. Pharm- Marks obtained in Chemistry, Biology, Physics sections of Paper 2 respectively and after that the age.
- For B. Arch.- Marks obtained in Mathematics, Drawing Aptitude& Aesthetics sensitivity section of Paper 4 respectively followed by age
- For B. Tech. (Ag. Engg.)- Marks obtained in AG-I, AG-II, AG III section of Paper 3 respectively and after that the age
- For B. Tech. (Bio Tech.)- same as above
UPSEE Cutoffs 2011
As per UP State Government orders the cut-off percentage of marks for UPSEE 2011 has been set at 25% for successful candidates whereas, for reserved categories (SC/ST) the merit rate has been set at 20%.
Admission Process
Students who successfully qualify the exam and fit the eligibility criteria as per the required rankings shall be called for a 2 day stay which involves a counseling session and allotment procedure.
DAY 1- COUNSELING:
- During this time, they will have to produce their identification details and merit certificates along with their Xerox copies. Candidates will also be asked to submit 3 of their passport sized photographs. The thing to be noted here is that they must submit photographs similar to the ones pasted on their application form.
- After this, they must deposit the fees of Rs 5000/ in form of a DD in the favour of Finance Officer, G.B. Technical University A/C SEE-GPTU: 2011 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre.
- Candidates also need to pay a counseling fee of Rs 500/ in form of ACCOUNT PAYEE DD in favour of Finance Officer, G. B. Technical University A/C SEE-GBTU: 2011 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. Candidates must keep in mind that this fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Candidates shall be asked to fill a form mentioning their choice in college and branch, starting from their highest priority to the lowest preference.
DAY 2-ALLOTMENT:
- The choices filled by the candidates on the previous day shall be processed and students will be allotted their respective college and course. Candidates would be allowed to access the allotment information via net. Candidates MUST bring along the fee receipt and the copy of their choice form to receive the allotment letter.
- Once the allotment of seat is done, a candidate belonging to General category must submit an account payee Bank draft as part of institute fee Rs. 10,000/- whereas, a candidate belonging to a SC/ST category shall have to submit a draft of Rs. 4,000/- at the nearby counselling centre within a period of 3 days time.
