V-SAT Entrance exam
Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test is conducted on an all India basis, by Vignan University. The online test is to be held from 14th April to 20th April 2013 for admission to multifarious B.Tech programmes offered by the University.
The following B.Tech programmes are offered by Vignan University for the year 2013-2014:
- Agricultural Engineering
- Automobile engineering
- Biotechnology
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics and Communications Engineering
- Electronics and Computer Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Information Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Textile Technology
Eligibility:
- Candidates born on or after 1st July 1992, who have passed in Intermediate or its equivalent exam with minimum 60% aggregate marks are eligible to appear for the admission test. Admission to the University will be through the online test.
- Candidates, who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2013 are eligible for all B.Tech programmes and candidates, who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2013 are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology programme.
Exam Format:
- The question paper will be in English and consists of 4 sections ( Maths or Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English/Aptitude)
- The objective type questions are of multiple choices. Each question has 4 options, the candidate is supposed to choose the right option and mark it on the OMR sheet.
- Each correct answer carries one mark and there is no negative marking.

Rules: Candidates should report 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the test. Live demonstration of the online test will be arranged for the candidates before the commencement of the test. Candidates must bring their hall ticket, pen, H.B pencil and eraser for the test. Use of calculators, mobile phones, pagers etc is prohibited for the test.
Timing: Duration of the test is 180 minutes without any breaks.
