VITEEE 2011 Results Likely To Be Declared On 6th May 2011!

Students can expect the results of VITEEE 2011, conducted on 16th April across 106 centers of India, on 6th May 2011. The final merit list based on the total marks secured will be available on shiksha.com and the official website of the
VIT University. The university does not provide the marks of the candidates (both selected and unselected) by post. In addition to this, during the result publication, the ranks will be sent to the students via SMS, provided the mobile number has been mentioned by the candidate in the form.
Points To Be Noted:
- No provision for re-grading and re-totalling
- No photocopies of the answer sheets to be made available
- No correspondence in this regard will be entertained
- If a student has cleared VITEEE-2011 and summoned for counseling, this does not guarantee his admission
- Final admission of each student will rest upon his/her All India Rank (AIR) and also on the availability of seats
Students must ensure that they carry both the original and one-set of photocopy of each of the below mentioned documents. If the students fail to produce any of the following, they will not be permitted to participate in the counseling session.
Other Highlights To Look For:
- Candidates holding rank between 1 to 50 in VITEEE, will get 75% tuition fee waiver for all the years
- Applicants whose rank falls between 51 to 100 in VITEEE, will get 50% tuition fee waiver for all the years
The above scholarship benefits will granted under VIT's "GV School Development Programme" (GVSDP). The university also has the provision of special fee concession for toppers from every State. In case of selection for the B.Tech degree programme, candidates holding first rank in their state in the qualifying exam, will be benefitted with full tuition fee waiver for all the 4 years.
Essentials Required At The Time Of Counseling:
- VITEEE-2011 Admit Card
- Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth
- Marks Sheet of Qualifying Examination (if available)
- Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
- Nativity Certificate (For students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura
- Demand Draft for 30,000/- drawn in favour of "VIT University", payable at Vellore
