VITEEE 2014: Exam pattern, exam syllabus, and cut-offs

Candidates can book their slot online for VITEEE 2014 (Vellore Institute of Technology engineering entrance examination) from March 2014 onwards on the official website of VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology). VITEEE 2014 is a computer based test (CBT) which will be conducted from April 9, 2014 to April 20, 2014. The duration of this entrance exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The exam will have objective type questions and will be divided into three sections. Part-I will have questions from Physics, Part-II will have questions from Chemistry and Part-III will have questions from either Biology or Mathematics (as per the candidate’s preference). Each part contains 40 questions. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every right answer. VITEEE 2014 will not have any negative marking.

In 2013, students with ranks till 20, 000 in VITEEE were called for counselling and as per VIT administrative officer in VITEEE 2014 also the same procedure will be followed.
