VITEEE 2014: How to apply and admission procedure

Candidates can apply for VITEEE 2014 (Vellore Institute of Technology engineering entrance examination 2014) either through the online mode or the offline medium. Applicants can purchase the prospectus along with the application forms from designated branches of post offices as mentioned on VITEEE 2014 official website or by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 975 drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore to the address of Director - UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore accompanied by a request letter which contains the candidate’s complete address and mobile number. The application form and prospectus can even be received in person at the University’s below mentioned addresses.

Candidates who wish to fill their application form online need to visit the official website of VITEEE 2014 and register for VITEEE 2014. Here they need to fill in their personal details and provide their email id. After this they need to confirm their password and fill in the application form while paying extra attention to the date of birth and test centre that they plan to select. The test centre once selected will not be changed. After this, candidates need to select their mode of payment and download the application form in pdf format. The downloaded form needs then be signed by the candidate and their photograph needs to be affixed on it. The duly filled application form then needs to be sent through speed post at the below mentioned address:

VITEEE 2014: Admission Procedure
Candidates will be considered for admission on the basis of marks secured by them in VITEEE 2014. On the basis of these marks candidates will be short-listed and thereafter will be called for the counselling round.
VITEEE 2014: Counselling Round
The counselling dates will be declared on the official website of VITEEE 2014 after the results are declared. In 2014, VIT University will be holding a single-window counselling session which will take place at the Vellore as well as Chennai campus.
The original documents (as well as the photocopies of documents) that will be required at the time of counselling are as follows:
- Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth or any age proof certificate
- Community Certificate (for SC/ST only)
- Mark sheet of qualifying examination (if available)
- VITEEE-2014 e-Admit Card.
- DD for Rs 30,000/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore
- Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
