WBJEE 2016 Application form & Process

According to the official website, the registrations for WBJEE 2016 will end today i.e. February 29, 2016.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will be conducting WBJEE 2016 exam on May 17 between 9 AM to 5:30 PM, 2016 at various locations in West Bengal.

WBJEE 2016 application forms were made available online from January 5, 2016. Candidates can register for the exam online to seek admissions in various medical and engineering programmes offered by different colleges in West Bengal. The application process of WBJEE 2016 exam is the same as the last year with only few changes in the overall registration process.

WBJEE 2016 Application Form:

• Candidates can download and fill the application form on the official website of WBJEEB.
• The application form is divided into two sections i.e. personal details and Fee payment details. Once candidates fills and submits his/her personal details section, the system will generate a unique 7-digit numeric application number for later use.
• Candidates have to use this number along with their date of birth for any future login to the system. Therefore, it is important to save the application number accurately.
• Once the application procedure is over, candidates need to pay the application fee, which is different for medical and engineering courses. 

Following is the breakdown of WBJEE 2016 application fee:

• As soon as fees is paid, candidates will receive a confirmation report ensuring that applicants has successfully registered for WBJEE 2016
• Candidates have to take a printout of the Confirmation Page and paste their two identical (recent) coloured Passport sized Photographs.
• Now candidates needs to self-attest one photograph, after which he/she must put the left thumb impression and signature in the respective boxes.
• Also, the fields mentioning the signature of the Father/Mother/Guardian need to be filled.
• Once the WBJEE application form is filled successfully, candidates have to send the same along with the necessary documents in an envelope by speed post to the following address:

 Registrar, WBJEEB, AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700091

• Once the board receives the confirmation report from the candidates, an admit card will be generated in the name of candidate with details of examination center and candidate’s roll number.
