M.Sc. Colleges for Hospitality & Travel in Kolkata

The Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata (IHMK) will not be offering any M.Sc. programs. They now provide Diploma and B.Sc. programs in a range of hospitality and tourism-related subjects.

You may need to look into other universities or colleges that offer M.Sc. programs in hospitality management or related subjects if you're interested in pursuing one of these degrees. They could demand several admission examinations, such as:

CAT: Administered by IIMs for MBA admissions; recognised by certain colleges for M.Sc. degrees in hotel management or business administration.
Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT): Administered by IISc Bangalore, this exam is recognised by some colleges for Master of Science degrees in a number of subjects, including hotel management.
tests exclusive to a university: A lot of universities administer entrance tests unique to their M.Sc. degrees, including hospitality management.

Candidates seeking admission to GHIMCT via NCHMCT JEE 2025 must sit in the counselling rounds. For this, they need to pay INR 40,000 as a participation fee for NCHMCT JEE counselling 2025.  To be more specific, When appearing for the counselling round, candidates need to pay a registration fee of INR 2,000. This fees is non refundable. Other than that, candidates will also have to pay INR 40,000 as the participation fess. The amount of INR 40,000 is adjusted as the academic fee for the first semester of the hotel management course. This amount includes INR 2,000 which is the counselling fee. Through centralised online counselling of NCHMCT JEE 2025, shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 27 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking and 29 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.

Candidates are informed that admission to BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration course is done strictly on the basis of a candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in NCHMCT JEE. There will be no separate group discussion or interview round conducted for admissions. Basis a candidate's rank and minimum qualifying marks,  NCHMCT JEE cut-offs are prepared.

NIPS offers admission to B.Sc on the basis of merit in clss 12th. Thus, the admission is on the basis of class 12th marks, which means there is no such entrance exam for admission to NIPS in B.Sc. It is advisable to visit the official website for a detailed eligibility criteria.
