Skills Required to Face AI in Jobs

Some of the skills that will help you tackle AI at work are:

  • Creative thinking: Don't forget to keep thinking creatively. Show creativity at work. AI is made by human creativity. The human brain is more creative than any AI.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Read, experience new things, and learn the art of problem-solving. AI is just a technology. It can provide solutions depending on the data collected or the training given. But you can go beyond that.
  • Communication: Work on your communication skills. The better it is, the less chances are for your replacement. AI cannot replace human interaction and communication.
  • Emotional intelligence: Work on your emotional intelligence. AI cannot do this. See how humans learn, function, think, etc.
  • Adaptability: You cannot skip AI completely. You need to adapt it and use it smartly for your work. Learn to give prompts, analyze data, create presentations, etc.
  • Digital literacy: Learn new software, programmes, trends, etc. AIs are trained on new technology, so to face them or beat them, you must have digital literacy; you will become obsolete.
