UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam 2011 on Feb 13

The Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2011 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on February 13, 2011 for granting admissions to the candidates into the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy for the courses slated to start in January 2012, and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (men and women) beginning in April, 2012.

The candidates can go through the CDS Exam eligibility criteria, syllabus, schedule, test centers etc. available on the official UPSC website, and can also apply for the same therein. Candidates applying offline for the test can buy the Common Application Form from the selected post offices across the country.

The applicants can send their filled up offline applications to UPSC by post/speed post/courier latest by October 25, 2010. However, for students residing in remote areas, the extended date is till November 1, 2010.
