Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) does not have a strong campus placement tradition. Because universities and colleges only give degrees, students are largely placed on their own after graduation. During recent TMBU placements, the top and the lowest packages provided were INR 4.80 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. TMBU has a placement rate of approximately 80%.
