The NIMCET exam is conducted annually. There are a total of 11 NITs (National Institute of Technology) and 2 IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology). They intake students into their MCA programs through NIMCET. The exam is conducted by one of the participating NITs every year, rotationally.

Q:   Can I change my allotted NIMCET centre after receiving the admit card?

No. Once an exam centre is allotted, it can't be changed. Yes, candidates with 50% marks will be able to fill the form. In the MAH MCA CET eligibility criteria it is mentioned that a candidate should obtain at least 50% aggregate marks in graduation (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State); Or
Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET.
