Q:   Is there any seat reservation policy followed at AJK Mass Communication Research Centre?
A: 

Yes, AJK Mass Communication Research Centre follows the seat reservation policies prescribed by its affiliating university, i.e. Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). The institute reserves certain seats for various categories. The reservation policy prescribed by JMI is as follows:

  • Two seats in each programme offered at AJK MCRC are reserved for Kashmiri Migrants
  • Two seats in each programme offered at AJK MCRC are reserved for candidates from J&K
  • 5% seats in all Undergraduate/Degree/Diploma/Certificate Programs must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying examination of the concerned programme (X/XII/Gradaution) from Jamia schools/institutes as regular students
  • 5% seats in all programmes in Jamia Millia Islamia shall be reserved for physically challenged persons in accordance with the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities (Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment) Gazette Notification Dated June 15, 2017

The following seat reservation provisions apply to candidates belonging to Muslim Minorities:

  • 30% of the total number of seats in each programme shall be earmarked for Muslim applicants
  • 10% of the total number of seats in each programme shall be earmarked for Women applicants who are Muslims
  • 10% of the total number of seats in each programme shall be earmarked for “Other Backward Classes” (OBCs) and Scheduled Tribes who are Muslims, as per the list notified by the Central Government
Q:   Can I get direct admission at VIPS Delhi?
A: 

No, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies does not offer direct admissions its offered courses. The institute accepts national entrance exams which include JEE Main, CLAT (UG), CLAT (PG), NIMCET, and IPU CET, depending on the chosen course.
