Mewar University Chittorgarh is an independent institution that was set up in 2008 by the Rajasthani government under Act No. 4 of 2009, which was approved by the state legislature (Government of Rajasthan), The CUET cutoff for the previous year was above 600+ marks. For General Category score above 80 percentile is accepted. Also, University offers scholarships on a merit basis to students who score well in CUET Exam.

The university admit candidates to the MBA programmes based on merit in the accepted exams. Candidates with a valid score of CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE can apply. Additionally, aspirants with a valid score of these exams can take the Amity entrance exam. The applicants are further shortlisted and called for the interview round. IRM Jaipur does not conducts any own entrance exam, but it accepts the scores of various entrance exams. Entrance exam scores that IRM Jaipur accepts for admission to MBA are:

1. The Common Admission Test (CAT) - most well-liked  entrance exams for admission to MBA programs in India.
2. The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
3. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a national entrance exam.
4. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT): XLRI Jamshedpur administers the XAT.
5. ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions): AIMS administers the ATMA, a national entrance exam.

NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce MBA fee is cumulative of various components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, etc. The total tuition fee for the PG course range from INR 3 Lacs to INR 5 lakh.
