Yes, Manipal University conduct Manipal entrance test (MET) every year for admission in B.Tech and other UG courses. and it does not accept the score of JEE mains.You can also get admission through CUET-UG in various courses and direct entry is also available for some courses. Candidates must have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the BTech programme.

Poornima University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university selects candidates based on merit for most of the programmes. For BBA (Hons), BCom (Hons), Poornima University conducts a written test to shortlist candidates for admission. The national-level entrance exams such as NATA,  UGC NET are also accepted for admission to specific courses. Amity University Jaipur accepts national or state-level entrance exams like JEE Main, CAT, GATE, etc. to provide admission to specific courses. Admission criteria to SMS Medical College is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams for a few courses. Similarly, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams for a few courses.

To get admission to CSE at LNMIIT, candidates aim for the cutoff ranks or percentiles in the JEE Advanced or JEE Main exams. To be eligible for the first semester, candidates should have achieved a JEE Advanced an All India Rank upto 12000 or a JEE Main Percentile of 97 or above.
