NBE Conducted FMGE 2021 June session, Result by June 30

The National Board of Examinations on Friday, June 18, 2021, conducted FMGE 2021 exam in online mode. The exam was conducted with extra precautionary measures amid covid-19. FMGE 2021 result is expected to be declared by June 30, 2021.
Earlier, students were demanding to postpone FMGE 2021 June session. However, the Supreme Court declined the plea to defer the exam date. Earlier NBE said that timely conduct of the exam would enable them to contribute in the fight against covid-19 as registered practitioners.
FMGE which stands for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is conducted for Indian citizen or OCI who has completed their primary medical qualification from institutes outside India. These candidates will have to clear the FMGE 2021 exam to practice in India. Only after the clearance of FMGE 2021, they become eligible to register themselves with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council (SMC).
NBE will release FMGE 2021 results online at its official website. The result will be available in PDF format. Candidates will be able to download the result for FMGE 2021 through login credentials. FMGE 2021 result will have the roll number of the candidate, score out of 300, and his/her qualifying status(pass/fail). Candidates will have to score a minimum 50 percent out of the total 300 to clear the FMGE 2021 screening test. Those who will get less than 150 marks will not qualify for the exam.
Those who will clear the FMGE 2021 screening test will be eligible to apply for provisional/permanent registration from the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. For provisional registration/permanent registration, candidates will have to apply to the Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi or to any State Medical Council along with the requisite registration fee.
