Yenepoya University offers MSW with medical specializations

Yenepoya University, Mangalore is all set to offer a highly specialized MSW (Medical) course at its Deralakatte campus near Mangalore from the current academic year. Comprehensive in nature, the program will be delivered in three specializations:

• Medical care and hospital management
• Public health
• Mental health and counselling + other social work foundation subjects

Nature of the program: Professional in content and practically related to medical and health sciences

Eligibility: Graduates in any Discipline from a recognized University-securing 50% marks in aggregate can apply.

Duration of the course: 2 years (four semesters)

Future prospects: Aspirants on successfully completing the course would have gained the required competencies to take up multiple roles in health care, development, rehabilitation and counselling in both government and private sectors.
