The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the CSEET January 2026 exam day instructions. ICSI will conduct the last examination in remote proctored mode on January 10, 2026. Candidates appearing for CSEET January 2026 must make sure to follow the exam day guidelines and keep the software and hardware requirements ready. ICSI CSEET January 2026 will be held for a duration of two hours. To become familiar with the exam day environment, candidates must appear for CSEET January 2026 mock test scheduled on January 07 and 08.

ICSI CSEET January 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must read the exam day instructions for CSEET January 2026 carefully mentioned below:

  • CSEET exam will be held in remote proctored mode. Students can use their own laptop to appear for exam.
  • Take the print of CSEET admit card soon after the release and verify details
  • Students will not be permitted to take exam from tablet, mobile phone or palm tops.Β 
  • Download SEBLite on desktop
  • Student must a stable internet connection
  • Keep the laptop fully charged before appearing for exam
  • Students must login 30 minutes before the CSEET exam time
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers
  • Students shall not be allowed to use mobile, earphones, headphone or any other electronic items like smart watch, bluetooth and so forth.
  • Test taker must make sure that video and mic are properly functional.Β 
  • Candidates must dress decently for CSEET exam

ICSI CSEET January 2026: System Requirements

Students appearing for CSEET January 2026 must keep fulfill below system requirements:

  • Windows 10 and above
  • Intel Core i5, 10th Generation or above with 2.4 Ghz Processor
  • RAM 8 GB and above
  • Screen resolution- 1024*768
  • Webcam must have a minimum resolution of 640x480 @ 15 fps
  • Mic
  • 5 Mbps continuous connectivity
  • Latest version of Chrome / Edge

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has announed the CSEET 2026 exam date for upmcoming sessions. As per the Schedule:

  • CSEET January 2026 exam date is January 10, 2026
  • CSEET June 2026 exam date is June 01 to June 04, 2026

ICSI will now conduct CSEET three times in a year- February, June and October. The registrations for CSEET January 2026 are ongoing. Candidates can apply for January 2026 exam till December 15, 2025.

Q: Β  Which items are prohibited during CSEET exam?

CSEET exam is conducted in online proctored mode. In this mode of examination candidates will be able to take the exam form their own laptops/desktops. In such a case, no candidate shall be allowed to keep with him/her any book, study material, handwritten or printed notes, mobile phone, headphone, earphone, pager, digital diary, calculator, blue tooth device, laptop, palmtop, smart watch, health band or any other electronic device or gadget. Also, candidates are also not allowed to use pencil/ pen and Paper for the online test. No person, other than the CSEET registered candidate, shall be present for the test. Candidate should not talk to any one during the test or read questions / answers aloud. If found, such candidates will be disqualified.
