India Got 1166 CMAs in One Year; Check CMA 2021 Pass Percentage!

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) released the CMA results on February 19. The press release stating the pass percentage along with the result analysis was released on February 23. CMA exam is typically conducted in two terms, i.e. June and December. However, in 2021, the Intermediate and Final exams for June and December terms were merged owing to delays caused by the COVID-19.

CMA Intermediate 2021 Result Analysis

With a pass percentage of 16.46 per cent, out of 20934 students who applied for the Group I exam of the CMA Intermediate course, 3445 students passed. As many as 2140 students out of 9881 applicants passed CMA Intermediate exam for Group II.

A total of 11860 students applied for both groups in the session. Out of these, 847 students passed in either of the course groups, and 1402 passed in both groups that bought a pass percentage to 7.14 per cent and 11.82 per cent respectively.

CMA Final 2021 Result Analysis

Group III registered candidates passed with a passing percentage of 10.87. Out of 8276 students who applied for CMA final group III exam, 900 passed. As many as 3647 students applied for CMA final group IV exam, 426 passed bringing the pass percentage to 11.68 per cent.

A total of 4270 students applied for both groups of CMA Final exam, 308 students passed either one of the groups, while 281 students passed both groups they applied for. With the release of CMA final 2021 results, as many as 1166 candidates became certified CMA in the span of one year.
