JEE Mains Exam Centre Selection Rules: Address-Based Allotment Explained
When selecting your exam centres for JEE Main 2027 in the online application form, take note of NTA’s automated city allocation logic.
Candidates will be provided with four city choices during the application form filling. However, the list of available examination cities is strictly populated based on the Present Address and Permanent Address you enter in the registration form. You cannot pick any cities outside your state/region if they do not match your submitted residential addresses.
NTA assigns test centres in order of your entered priority, subject to seat capacity.
