AFCAT SSB Interview 2022: ASFB Seat Selection Link Activated; last date to register is Mar 14
IAF has activated the link to select AFSB exam date and centre. The link for AFSB seat selection is available till March 14.
Indian Air Force (IAF) has activated the link for Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) seat selection. Candidates can select dates and centres for AFSB interview till March 9. To select ASFB seat, go to the AFCAT 01/2022 candidate login. Candidates need to enter the user ID, password and captcha code. The AFSB call up letter will be issued to candidates who successfully registers for AFSB. AFCAT SSB dates will be mentioned on the call up letter.
Request for Change in AFSB Interview
The request for change in AFSB interview date should be avoided by candidates. Requests for postponing interview may be considered under genuine circumstances and that too if it is administratively convenient for which Air Headquarters will be the sole deciding authority. Such requests should be sent to AFSB Centre from where the call for AFSB interview has been received through e-mail only.

How are SSB Centres Allotted?
For AFCAT entry, IAF prepares a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the AFCAT online exam. Candidates who are declared successful in the AFCAT online exam will be called at one of the Air Force Selection Boards. Candidates who have applied for NCC Special Entry will be directly called for AFSB testing at one of the AFSB centres.

Mysuru (2 AFSB)
Gandhinagar (3 AFSB)
Varanasi (4 AFSB)
Guwahati (5 AFSB)
Candidates who opt for the flying branch can only opt for Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi.
Stages of AFSB SSB
AFSB interview comprises the following stages:
Stage-I: This stage comprises Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test.
Stage-II: This stage comprises Psychological test.
For Flying Branch: This AFSB interview for Flying Branch comprises Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS). This is once in a lifetime test. Candidates who have failed the CPSS/ PABT in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy will not be eligible.
