The national capital has reopened schools for all classes considering the decreasing numbers of the novel coronavirus. While schools have reopened, authorities have received strict instructions to follow all the COVID-19 guidelines including social distancing, wearing masks, using sanitizer to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

The Delhi government recommended school reopening in the national capital during the last meeting of DDMA. Stating that further suspension of offline classes would damage the social and economic well-being of children. After receiving school reopening requests from over 1600 parents, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had also said the government had closed schools when it was not safe for children, but "excessive caution" was harming them. However, turning down the request made earlier, the DDMA informed that the decision on Delhi school reopening will be taken later.
