Application deadline for AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22 extended; apply now at pgscholarship.aicte-india.org

Application window for PG scholarships offered by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will now close on January 31. Earlier, the last date to apply for scholarship was December 31, 2021. 

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the application deadline for its postgraduate (PG) scholarship scheme till January 31. Earlier, the candidates were supposed to apply for the scheme till December 31, 2021.  

Only candidates who have a valid score in GATE, GPAT and CEED can applycfor the scholarship online on the official portal of the AICTE, pgscholarship.aicte-india.org. They must have been admitted to AICTE approved regular postgraduate programmes. 

Selected candidates for the AICTE PG scholarship will be given a monthly stipend of INR 12,400 through direct benefit transfer in their bank accounts. 

Eligibility for AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22 

• Students  must have a valid GATE, GPAT or CEED qualification score at the time  of admission. 
• They  must be enrolled as full-time scholars. 
• They  must be admitted in AICTE-approved institutions and courses such as  Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture,  Master of Pharmacy and Master of Design. 

“Students of final years of dual degree integrated programmes would also be entitled to PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards in case they get a CGPA score of 8 or above (on a scale of 10) i.e. only for one year in final year,” the AICTE had said.  

The AICTE is a national-level advisory body, which provides accreditation to institutions and also offers scholarships and fellowships to students interested in pursuing a technical degree course.
