IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
As mentioned before, the students must fulfil the below-mentioned IPMAT Indore eligibility criteria in order to appear for the IPMAT exam:
- Students must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA in the case of the General and NC OBC categories.
- Students belonging to SC, ST or PwD (DA) categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Students must have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.
- Students awaiting the Class 12 board results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
IPMAT Indore: Age Limit
IIM Indore sets the age criteria for the candidates who are planning to appear for the IPMAT exam. The age limit is as follows:
- Candidates belonging to the General or NC OBC category must not be more than 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026, at the time of filling out the IPMAT application form 2026.
- The candidate's age should not be more than 22 years as of July 31, 2026, of those belonging to SC, ST, PwD (DA) categories.
- Candidates belonging to the Foreign Nationals category must have been born on or after August 1, 2006.
Documents Required for IPMAT Registration 2026
Students registering for the exam must have the following list of documents before the IPMAT form date announcement:
- Scanned coloured passport size photograph
- Scanned signatures on a white paper
- Scanned copy of latest category certificate as applicable
- Scanned copies of Class 12 and Class 10 marksheets
- Credit card, debit card, internet banking details for IPMAT form fees payment
