The seat acceptance process for CAP Round 3 of MAH BBA CET exam 2025 has started. Read the article below to know the seat acceptance rules and what next. 

State CET Cell, Maharashtra, released the CAP round 3 provisional allotment on September 23, 2025, and the seat acceptance has started on September 24, 2025. The candidates can accept the seats offered in CAP Round 3 of the MAH BBA CET counselling till September 26, 2025, till 3 PM. Candidates who are securing a seat in the allotment must follow a few seat acceptance rules of their preferred institute. Read the article below to know more.

Seat Acceptance Rules for CAP Round 3 of MAH BBA CET 2025

Candidates must follow the rules mentioned below for the MAH BBA CET CAP Round 3 counselling 2025:

  • All the eligible candidates who participated in Round 3 and have been allotted the seats for the first time need to self-verify the seat allotment, accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee in the online mode through his/her login.
  • If the candidate has been allotted the seat in his/her first six preferences, the allotment will be auto-frozen, and they need to pay the seat acceptance fee online through the candidate login. These candidates will not be able to participate in the subsequent CAP rounds. 
  • If the candidate has been allotted the seats other than their first six preferences and has frozen their allotment in Round 3 can pay the seat acceptance fee online after acceptance. These candidates will also not be able to participate in the subsequent CAP rounds. 
  • If the candidate has been allotted a seat other than the first six, they can choose the Not Freeze/ Betterment option for betterment in the subsequent rounds. However, they still need to pay the seat acceptance fee online. 

After accepting the seats, candidates need to report to the institute and receive confirmation of admission. The institute will verify the required documents, such as previous academic marksheets, MAH BBA CET scorecard, admit card, etc. and upload the admission of the candidates online. The authorities will then share a system-generated receipt of confirmation of admission and the fee paid receipt to the candidate.

Q:   What are the key dos on the MAH BBA CET exam day?
A:

On the MAH BBA CET exam day, candidates have to follow certain guidelines which include settling on time, cooperating with the exam conducting staff, following instructions of the test invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the MAH BBA CET questions. There are some key dos that candidates should follow on the MAH BBA CET exam day, which have been listed below:

MAH BBA CET exam day dos:

  1. Reach the MAH BBA CET exam centre on the allotted time.
  2. Keep a photocopy of the MAH BBA CET admit card along with a government issued identity proof.
  3. PwD candidates should keep the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities. 
  4. Keep a blue/black ball point pen for calculations
  5. Keep a drinking water bottle with you as you will not be allowed to leave the seat during the exam
  6. Cooperate with the test centre staff and follow instructions carefully
  7. Candidates must write their name and roll numbers on the rough sheet they use.
  8. Candidates must affix a coloured passport size photograph on their MAH BBA CET hall ticket
Q:   For how long is the MAH BBA CET score valid?
A:

MAH BBA CET score is valid for admission for one year only. Those who have appeared for MAH BBA CET 2024 (first and additional sessions), can seek admission to participating colleges this year only (2024-26 batch) Candidates who will appear in MAH BBA CET 2025, their scores will be valid for admission to 2025-2029 batch of BBA/BMS/BBCA/BBS programmes. Those who wish to take a break of one year will have to appear for the exam again.

It is good to take a break and appear for the MAH BMS BBA CET exam next year again instead of taking admission in a college that is not of your choice. If you’ve scored below expectation in the current attempt, skip the year, prepare for the exam again, score better the next year and pursue the UG degree from a college that meets all your parameters.

Q:   What are the key don'ts on the MAH BBA CET exam day?
A:

Here are the key don'ts to be followed:

  1. Do not reach late to the exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall if they reach late. 

  2. Don't Forget Admit Card. Make sure to keep a printout of your MAH BBA CET admit card/hall ticket to the exam center. Without the admit card, candidates may not be allowed to appear for the exam.

  3. Do not keep prohibited items such as gadgets, study material, notes, bags, or any other items that are not allowed according to exam guidelines.

  4. Don't engage in malpractice and refrain from any form of malpractice or cheating. 

  5. Don't ignore exam instructions. Listen carefully to the exam invigilator's instructions before starting the exam
