NPAT 2021 Call Letter

The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India severely. In wake of the increasing cases, SVKM’s NMIMS, the conducting body of NPAT 2021, has decided to conduct the exam remotely. NMIMS Programs after Twelfth, commonly known as NPAT exam, has been scheduled to be held on June 27, July 2, and July 3. Typically, NMIMS University administers NPAT from the exam centre; however, similar to the previous year’s examination session, NPAT 2021 exam is being conducted as a Remote Proctored Assessment.

Earlier, the NPAT admit card was to release on June 24; with the shift of the examination mode to the online remote proctored mode, the NPAT call letter (NPAT hall ticket) will not be facilitated.

Identity Verification During NPAT Remote Proctored Examination

Lately, the official website of SVKM’s NMIMS has been featuring a pop-up notification for the candidates who are visiting the official website to download the NPAT admit card 2021. The pop-up notification states,

Call Letter for NPAT/N-LAT/N-CET will not be released as we are going ahead with the Online Remote Proctored examination.

In addition, candidates are notified about how the proctor will verify the identity of the test taker. Candidates need to keep identity proof (bearing photo) with them on the examination day. Test-takers need to show the photo identity proof to the proctor using the webcam to be able to initiate the exam.

NPAT 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates have to go through Infrastructure Readiness Check (IRC) and Dry Run Check (DRC) before the exam date. Here are some NPAT 2021 exam day instructions to be kept in mind

  1. Suspicion of malpractice or use of unfair means will lead to disqualification; thus, it is advisable to focus on the exam and avoid any distractions in the exam room or on the system.
  2. Do not cover the view of the webcam until the submission of the examination
  3. Creating a virtual setup of screen mirroring or screen casting will be treated as unfair means of practice and lead to disqualification of the candidature
  4. Eatables are not allowed during the NPAT exam
  5. Changing seating position during the exam is not allowed
  6. Covering the face during the exam is not allowed
  7. The examination launcher will record video/audio during the examination

On the examination day, candidates will be able to access the IBT launcher using the login credentials. Further, for the identity verification, candidates need to show the photo identity card to the proctor via a webcam. NPAT hall ticket will not be issued.
