As of yet, there has not been any official notification about the release of SET 2026 exam date, but is expected to be released soon. SET exam 2026 will likely be conducted in the first and second week of May 2026. Along with the release of the SET exam date 2026, authorities will also release the complete SET schedule and SET application form 2026, at www.set-test.org website.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2026

SET exam eligibility criteria 2026 state that:

  • Student should have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination in the relevant stream from a recognised board or university with a minimum 50% aggregate and 45% for SC and ST category students.
  • Students in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results can also apply, but they will have to submit a passing certificate at the time of admission.
  • A student who has completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.

Q:   Will the SET BBA exam be conducted in double shifts?
A:

No, the SET exam will be conducted in a single shift. SET exam is usually conducted in a single shift for one hour, i. e. from 9 AM to 10 AM. The exam was, however, is conducted on two days. 

However, in 2020, the SET exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, and the students had the option to choose the exam slot according to their preference and convenience. SET exam pattern was also changed after 2020. 

Q:   Can I carry a watch, eatables and water to the SET exam centre? Which documents should I carry to exam centre?
A:
Eatable and drinks are not allowed inside the SET exam centre. But, candidates must carry their personal transparent water bottle to the exam centre and follow the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour at all times. Electronic gadgets including watches, mobile phones, calculators, smart devices, etc. Are prohibited inside the SET exam centre. Candidates should carry recent passport size photograph, photo ID (original and photocopy) and SET admit card along with them to the exam centre.
Q:   What all items can I carry to the SET exam centre?
A:

Every candidate must carry a blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, SET candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. Candidates have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the SET exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.
