Bihar government has asked district education officers to submit their reports regarding opening the schools in the state amid ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The Bihar Education Department has asked all the district education officers to submit reports on re-opening of the schools in the state after doing consultation regarding the same with the students, parents, teachers, and management of schools.

The district education officers have to submit their reports by June 6. The schools have been closed in the state for more than two months now due to coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown imposed after that to contain the virus.

Earlier, the Bihar State Examination Board had released the Class 10 results 2020. Students who appeared for BSEB Class 10 Board Exams 2020 and are not satisfied with their result can apply for scrutiny from May 29 to June 12. 

Students who are not satisfied with their BSEB Matric Results 2020 can apply for BSEB 10th Result Scrutiny.

Recently, the Haryana Government had announced that they have decided to reopen the schools and colleges in the state in a phased manner. 

In order to avoid the spread of the coronavirus, the Haryana government has come up with a plan to reopen the schools and colleges, and start the academic work in a phased manner.

"Schools to reopen in July in a phased manner, starting with Classes 10 to 12, followed by Classes 6 to 9, and 1 to 5. For social distancing, schools function at 50 percent strength. In a Class of 30 students, 15 will come in the morning and 15 in the evening or alternate days," Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal said.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has crossed the 2.15 lakh mark after a record number of 9,304 people tested positive in the last 24 hours. The total cases in the country stood at 2,16,919, including 6,075 deaths, Union Health Ministry data shows. 

Several states are now looking out for options to re-open the schools in the country without hampering the health of the students.
