Rahul Gandhi has claimed that the post of assistant professors in universities and colleges are also being sold.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has claimed that 13,000 private schools in Karnataka gave 40 percent commission to the state government. Rahul Gandhi is in Karnataka these days as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Gandhi blamed that the state government is taking money for every government post. He stated that the post of assistant professors in universities and colleges are also being sold.
Speaking to the media in Hiriyur, Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said: โKarnataka Government is the most corrupt government in the country. They take 40% commission on every single transaction. 13,000 private schools have given 40% commission. Don't take my word for it. BJP MLAs themselves are saying this is the most corrupt government.โ
Gandhi claimed that BJP MLAs have told him that CM's post can be bought for Rs 2,500 crore. Basavaraj Bommai is currently serving as Karnataka Chief Minister and Assembly elections are scheduled to be held next year.
Rahul Gandhi who has been constantly attacking BJP Government at the centre and in Karnataka alleged that jobs are for sale in Karnataka. โPolice Sub Inspector's post was sold for Rs 80 Lakhs. Assistant Professors' posts are sold. Engineering posts are sold. Everything that these people can possibly sell, they sell,โ said Rahul Gandhi.
